you will get your own username and password to login to your folder.

  Main Screen - uploading images

  all files uploaded by you will go into your own knitblog.com folder.
  you will be the only one that can add and delete images from your folder.
  copy and paste the URL of the image to insert it into your blog.

to get the URL of the image, simply click on the "blue text" which is the image name, a new window will show up with the URL of the image in the address bar.

In the FILE OPTIONS box, you can:

field 1: create directories (folders) if you want to organize your photos

field 2: create new file (you probably will not use this)

field 3: Local File, click the browse button to find the file on your computer, then click "upload selected file" ... you'll notice that the file gets added to the top of the page... which you can then click to get the URL of the image

OR you can click "upload multiple files" to upload a bunch at a time

the next box is FILE COMPRESSION, which you dont really need... this would be if you want to make a .zip of all your files... my server makes backups daily, so you dont need to worry about losing images...

the other areas on the page show directory info and the icon legend

1. teeny folder thing: shows available space

2. little house: brings you "home" to this upload page

3. two little stars: change your password

4. little door: logout
